The granddaddy of the modern body piercing movement.
A big name in the piercing industry, one of the pioneers in the body piercing history and founder of the "Gauntlet" the first American Piercing only studio in 1975.
Mid 60's he got training in jewelry making and manufacture and came into contact with piercings, by experimenting with piercings and finding/making the right materials, shapes and techniques together with Doug Malloy.
He is the founder of the basic techniques and instruments, which we now still use in the modern piercing.
He designed many jewelry for piercing as the bead ring and improved the barbells.Must read for piercers!
